Remedios Varo – Armonia/Harmony (1956). Varo was a spanish surrealist whose work was an exploration into the universal myths of human religion. Alongside this religious aspect was a keen interest in maths and science: in her work she engages Einsteinian relativity, Darwinian evolution, Pythagorean mathematics, Jungian archetypes and sacred geometry.
